The judges looked for the very best examples of high quality and influential programmes of learning and development from across the legal sector. Those programmes cover legal or non-legal staff within practices and are delivered by and within practices or by training institutions or companies. The programmes demonstrate a strong and lasting impact on the delivery of legal services.

Feedback from delegates attending our ‘Dawn raid’ scenario delivered via the Syndicate System:

Really excellent, extremely helpful and an effective learning environment

Great course

Very well thought through. A lot of what I have learnt will apply to
other situations, thanks

Absolutely first class – deserves the awards received for it

Some of our delegates were asked for feedback by their organisations, which they passed on to us:

One of the most valuable experiences I have ever had. It was so thought-provoking and I will never forget the lessons I learnt.

Excellent concept and execution. Offered the opportunity to observe myself & colleagues in ‘action’ – providing very valuable learning.

Excellent session, no real improvement suggestions.

Incredibly organised and run, very believable, like being in ‘24’. Really enjoyed the experience of the individuals involved.

An immersive insight into a real life situation that encouraged decision making in ambiguous circumstances.

This was the best experiential learning experience I have ever had. Highly enjoyable and challenging.

Incredibly well run and a great way to start the week. Not only were there several themes that came out of it, but I really think the group bonded.

Quite simply the best leadership exercise I have ever done.

An excellent programme – great challenge and subsequent reflections.

An excellent exercise with a key learning of leading in a different and uncertain environment. Very brave of the team to set this up.

A very real scenario which provided great insight on how I, as an individual and we as a team, interact.

Thought-provoking and an opportunity to ‘mix’ personal styles.

I enjoyed simulating crisis management and command & control. This is very relevant to crises that we could face and that we have to address accordingly.

Extraordinary day and learning experience.

The highlight of the week. The most challenging and rewarding simulation that I have participated in. Significant personal learning around how I act and feel under pressure. Real insight into decision-making – both within a team and individually. ‘Uncomfortable excitement’ is very apt description. Event generated a huge amount of discussion and people were very willing to offer feedback. I still have not fully reflected on the event.
